WHO ARE CREDAS?
Credas is an award-winning digital identity verification provider with a global reach. We are certified against the UK Government's Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
On the Credas app, you’ll be prompted to take a photo of your ID, and then take a photo of your face. Our software will then be able to determine that your ID and the picture of your face are a match with each other.
WHAT IS THE CREDAS APP USED FOR?
Credas offers businesses a simple, quick and secure solution to regulated markets that require real-time identity verification.
HOW LONG IS DATA HELD?
As the data processor, the length time we hold you data for depends on our clients requirements and can range from 30 days to 5 years. Biometric data and original documents are only held for 30 days within the UK.
HOW LONG DOES CREDAS TAKE TO VERIFY?
The Credas mobile app has been designed to be secure, quick and easy to use, enabling you to verify in less than a minute.
HOW DO I CHECK MY RESULTS
If you have completed a Credas ID check, you will need to contact the business that issued your invite to discuss the results.
IS ANY DATA STORED WITHIN THE APP?
No data is stored within the app and it is stored within the cloud using the best-class data security protocols and software.
I CANNOT UPLOAD MY DOCUMENTS, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
The app will provide guidance on providing an acceptable image. It will also allow 3 attempts. Please ensure the document has all four corners in view, there is no glare or shadowing and all information is clear and in view.
HOW DO I SUBMIT FURTHER DOCUMENTS?
In order to submit additional documents, you would need to access the Credas app using your registration code then select ‘Scan ID Document’.
WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?
The business you are verifying on behalf of will outline the documents they require you to provide. If you need any assistance, please contact them and they can confirm.
